(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted round 2 of the Tick Mike Triple Crown for its SK Modified® division with the 50-lap Call Before You Dig Senator’s Cup on Friday, June 20th. The race served as the second of three legs of the TickMike.com Triple Crown and Michael Christopher, Jr. was the winner for the second consecutive week. Christopher’s victory was also his third consecutive victory in the CBYD Senator’s Cup 50-lap feature event. Andy Jankowiak, of Buffalo, N.Y., made the most of a return to Race of Champions Sportsman Modified Series action, holding off his protégé Mason Hanel of Clarence, N.Y., to capture the 40-lap feature win.

After setting the original Late Model car count record of thirty-three for Chaudiere back in 2019, matching it again last year, thirty-six Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour pilots invaded the Beauce oval for the Claude Leclerc 150.
Three rounds of qualifying whittled the thirty-six prospects down to thirty starters for the big dance Saturday afternoon with St-Denis’ Patrick Laperle earning the pole position with an incredible +5 in Plus/Minus handicap procedures with Quebec City’s William Larue, running the #46VT livery for Brian Hoar, set up alongside with a +2.

Thompson, CT — A great night of weather and talented fields greeted the crowd that entered Thompson Speedway on Wednesday night with a pit area containing nearly one hundred competitors for the Nutmeg State 50 program presented by Twisted Tea.
The Mini Stocks started off feature racing with Dave Trudeau and Sean Olden both holding out after their spins for the caution flag to rejoin the field. Under green flag conditions, though, rookie Bill Porter and returning high-marker Ryan Pomposelli put on a clean side-by-side race out front before Pomposelli broke through with five to go and motored to his first win of the season followed by Porter and Tim Dorr.
