(March 18, 2025) – Wright Motorsports delivered another display of perseverance and tenacity in last weekend’s Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, overcoming multiple challenges to secure a top-five finish in the notoriously grueling endurance race. As the second round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the twelve-hour battle tested both man and machine, but the Ohio-based team rose to the occasion, earning valuable championship points in both the full-season GTD class and the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup. Yelloly Leads Saturday Daylight Runs At Daytona For Acura Meyer Shank Racing

Speed is seldom the primary objective of pre-season testing, although any of the 31 participants in the IMSA test at Daytona International Speedway would take pride in topping the timing screens.

For most teams and manufacturers, the November test is mostly about integrating new personnel and learning how their cars react to changes in chassis setup and atmospheric conditions. There’s no substitute for time on track when it comes to learning. (more…)

DANVILLE, Virginia – Championship-leading Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Customer Racing teams and Mercedes-AMG begin the year’s final three-race stretch run of IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship races this weekend at VIRginia International Raceway with the annual Michelin GT Challenge at VIR, August 23 – 25. Sunday’s two-hour and 40-minute race is the final WeatherTech Championship sprint event of the season and the year’s only race spotlighting the series’ GT Daytona (GTD) and GTD Pro divisions in their own feature race. The Michelin GT Challenge at VIR is scheduled to start this Sunday at 12:10 p.m. EDT with live television coverage on the USA Network and NBC’s livestream platform Peacock beginning 10 minutes earlier at Noon EDT.
