Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour Motors into Oxford Plains Speedway Sunday

The Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour rolls into Oxford Plains Speedway 45 years to the day after their debut back in 1980. Here, in 1983, Robbie Crouch (#48) paces the field with Dave Dion (#27), Dick McCabe (#0) and Bobby Dragon (#71). (Alan Ward photo)

Barre, VT — After a spectacular start to the 2025 season just last Saturday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, the Stars and Cars of the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour set their sights on Maine’s Oxford Plains Speedway. The Pine Tree State 125 is sure to be the latest showdown between Gabe Brown and Derek Gluchacki, as both look to mount a strong offensive with their eyes on the $20,000 championship prize while they’ll be plenty of competitors standing in their way on Sunday afternoon!

The longtime, unofficial Vacationland home of the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour, Oxford Plains Speedway has held events for the Vermont-based Tour for forty-five years. The Pine Tree State 125 on Sunday, April 27 marks the 84th point-counting event at the Maine oval since the ‘Pine Tree Open 100’ which, interestingly enough, was also held on April 27 back in 1980!
