Joey Braun of Manorville put a $12,000 bow on his freshman season as a tour type Modified driver Saturday evening by winning the 9th annual Islip 300 at Riverhead Raceway Saturday evening. Braun broke onto the tour type Modified scene on the SMART tour this year, with he and sponsor Rich Gerbe through his HighMark Building Efficiency securing the Hillbilly Racing ride. Gerbe became a car owner over the summer with he and Braun winning their only other Riverhead start on Wednesday August 27th during a 50-lapper.
MARTINSVILLE, Va.—With a heroic, gloves-off drive on Sunday in the crucible that is Martinsville Speedway, William Byron earned a shot at the NASCAR Cup Series title and simultaneously saved the rest of the Championship 4 field from its worst nightmare.
Byron led three times for 304 laps—a career best for a single race—and beat Ryan Blaney to the finish line by 0.717 seconds after a restart with 11 laps left to win the Xfinity 500 elimination race under most exigent circumstances.

With $10,000 on the line and plenty of strategy available to be there at the end of 250 laps, the 2025 edition only added to the magic that is the Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250.

Woodstock, NH — With the sun thankfully shining down on the Sunday special program at White Mountain Motorsports Park, it was time to kick off the King of the Mountain track championship chase for the 1764 Sports Bar & Grill Late Models as well as the second annual visit from the Monaco Modifieds!
The Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division started Sunday’s show, returning to lap five of the previously rain-delayed HK Powersports feature race from back on May 17. It was no contest with freshman runner Lucas Sidney taking off under the green flag to capture his first career win at the Mountain with a hard-charging Owen Dupuis and Gracen Gorham rounding out the top three. The Kids returned later on for their regularly scheduled event under the direction of Clayton Houghton. Houghton led steadfast until his car got out from underneath him just after the halfway marker with Lucas Sidney going two for two in Kids Division wins, this time over Gorham and Kiptyn Aldrich.
