LOS ANGELES (Feb. 4, 2024) – Due to unprecedented rain forecast in the Los Angeles area on Sunday, NASCAR made a rare decision to move the Clash at the Coliseum to Saturday evening. Denny Hamlin came home the winner at NASCAR’s first Cup race while Joey Logano of Middletown, CT had to settle for fourth while Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT ended his effort in 11th and Corey LaJoie placed 17th. Corey is the son of two-time Xfinity Champion Randy LaJoie who is a native of Norwalk, CT.
