NASCAR Settles Explosive Michael Jordan Lawsuit as Billionaire NBA Icon Speaks Out On Result

Michael Jordan and his fellow plaintiffs suing NASCAR over alleged antitrust violations have reached a settlement with the racing circuit.

Jordan, his team 23XI co-owner Denny Hamlin and Front Row owner Bob Jenkings joined NASCAR Chairman Jim France as they stood together outside the courthouse pm Thursday in Charlotte. The group announced that charters — at the heart of NASCAR’s revenue model — will be made permanent for all Cup Series teams. Both 23XI and Front Row Motorsports, the two plaintiffs, will get theirs back after racing uncharted most of this past season.

Michael Christopher, Jr. Wins TC 13 Shootout; DiMatteo Wins SK Modified Feature at Stafford; Meyer, Matthews, Hammann, & Plemons Also Score Sept. 12 Feature Wins

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted USNE First Responder Friday on September 12th with the TC 13 Shootout joining Stafford’s five weekly divisions in feature action. The SK Modified® division ran their regularly scheduled 40-lap feature as well as the 3rd Annual TC 13 Shootout, a 13 lap race contested between the top-13 finishers from the 40-lap feature. Michael Christopher, Jr. was the big winner of the night taking home the TC 13 Shootout trophy and the $1,313 to win TC 13 Shootout.

Michael Christopher, Jr. Wins CBYD Senator’s Cup; Varricchio, Hovey, Theriault, & Plemons Also Score Feature Wins at Stafford Speedway

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted round 2 of the Tick Mike Triple Crown for its SK Modified® division with the 50-lap Call Before You Dig Senator’s Cup on Friday, June 20^th. The race served as the second of three legs of the TickMike.com Triple Crown and Michael Christopher, Jr. was the winner for the second consecutive week. Christopher’s victory was also his third consecutive victory in the CBYD Senator’s Cup 50-lap feature event. Other feature winners on the night were Paul Varricchio, Jr. in the Late Model feature, Nickolas Hovey in the SK Light feature, Kyle Theriault in the Limited Late Model feature, and Aaron Plemons in the Street Stock feature. (Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted the Casella Waste SK 80 on Friday, June 13th with Michael Christopher, Jr. taking home the Casella Waste hardware for a second consecutive season. In 2024, Christopher won the race as an Open Modified 80 event and this season as an SK Modified® event. The victory is Christopher’s first of the 2025 season and extends his recent string of success in extra distance, big money events.
