Grandview Speedway Saturday Races Fall To Stormy Weather – Championship Night Next Up On September 13 – Freedom 76 Weekend On September 19 & 20
BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Following eleven straight weeks of racing action, stormy weather won out on Saturday night at Grandview Speedway, causing the cancellation of the planned racing program.
With scattered thunderstorms developing throughout the area during the afternoon hours, and stronger storms predicted for arrival at race time in the evening, management made the difficult decision to cancel the evening’s program, giving consideration to the longer distance traveling teams, especially in the visiting division.

Trenton, NJ – Plans are well underway for the 2026 Indoor Auto Racing Series, with dates and host hotels confirmed for January and February events in Allentown, PA, Atlantic City, NJ, and Trenton, NJ. The expanded schedule will feature a third day of racing in Trenton, highlighted by the Slingshot division.
Atlantic City tickets will be first to go on sale via Ticketmaster on September 19, with special pre-sale opportunities beginning September 17.
USAC East Coast Sprints-Modifieds-Sportsman Make A Grandview Speedway Triple Header This Saturday Night
BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Wingless Sprint cars from the USAC East Coast Series will join the weekly stock car action this Saturday night at Grandview Speedway.
Grandview Speedway will be presenting another NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series program this Saturday featuring the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds, the T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman, and the only visit of the season by the USAC East Coast Sprint Cars.
Race Of Champions Weekend At Lake Erie Speedway To Host Final 250-Lap Event

North East, Pa. – (September 5, 2025) – When the checkered flag waves on Saturday, September 13, it will mark the final running of the Race of Champions 250 in its traditional 250-lap format at Lake Erie Speedway in North East, Pa.
Modeled after the long-distance Modified classics once held at Pocono Raceway, the Lake Erie edition has quickly earned a place among asphalt racing’s crown jewels. August 25, 2025-DuQuoin, IL-The August 16 Bettenhausen 100 at Springfield, run in high heat and humidity, saw several contenders for victory emerge in the USAC Silver Crown Series event. The Bettenhausen was the first of two traditional one-mile dirt track races on the schedule. The second and final mile race is also a daytime event on Saturday, August 30 when the Ted Horn 100 is contested at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds. The Springfield race saw several potential first-time winners on the Illinois mile.
USAC Star Kody Swanson Trying For Illinois Fair Sweep at DuQuoin Mile
August 24, 2025-DuQuoin, IL-Kody Swanson is the most prolific pilot in the 54-year history of USAC’s Silver Crown Series. His fourth Bettenhausen 100 win at Springfield August 16 was a record forty-ninth in the big cars, and Swanson has a record 8 national championships in his pocket. Saturday afternoon, August 30 at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds, Swanson goes for win number 50 and his third Ted Horn 100.
Shane Cockrum Returns To DuQuoin State Fair After Springfield Crash

August 25, 2025-DuQuoin, IL-Two-time Ted Horn 100 winner Shane Cockrum was beside himself after the Hans Lein #97 Silver Crown championship car was hauled away on a hook during practice for the August 16 Bettenhausen 100 at Springfield. Cockrum had entered turn one at speed when the front end washed out and the car slid into the outside concrete and a series of flips ensued. Fortunately, the “Chief” wasn’t hurt but the car, a potential winner, was done for the day. Cockrum and the Lein team will be one of the contenders in the upcoming Ted Horn 100 at DuQuoin, joined on the team by veteran Ken Schrader.
