Between the established stars moving up to the next division and a strong showing of new faces and names ready to grace the Barre, Vermont asphalt, the future looks bright and so do the upcoming battles for Rookie of the Year.

Operated by the staff at the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Star Series (PASS), Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park will roar back to life for the 48th running of Icebreaker weekend, April 1-3, with nine divisions of racing.

ATTLEBORO, Mass. — As part of a wide-ranging 14-race NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour schedule for 2021, the stars of NASCAR’s open-wheel division will be heading to Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Maine for the first time since 2005. In a race promoted by JDV Productions — the Rumble at the Ridge 200 — drivers will compete for glory around Maine’s oval in a return to the facility that is going to be highly-anticipated for everyone from teams, to drivers and fans. WINCHESTER, N.H. — After a long day at Monadnock Speedway in the season opener for the Tri Track Open Modified Series, Woody Pitkat and Stan Mertz Racing finished seventh. Pitkat won his qualifying heat, driving the Twisted Tea/Truly Hard Seltzer No. 6 to the front of the 15-lap contest, and in the feature, a mix of ups, and downs, ended with a solid top-10 run to open the six-race Tri Track Series. It was the first of 10 planned events for the Stan Mertz Racing team for the 2021 season.
For the seventh time in as many starts at Mahoning Valley Speedway Matt Hirschman has driven to victory, this time doing so for the season opening Race of Champions (RoC) Asphalt Modified Series 75-lapper. And, in each of those wins the runner-up has been Austin Beers. (more…)

Hickory, NC — The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) got its first taste of the “Birthplace of the NASCAR Stars” on Thursday, April 1. Twenty-nine teams made the trip to North Carolina’s Hickory Motor Speedway a day early for an open practice session prior to the Hickory 125 on Friday, April 2 and the Easter Bunny 125 on Saturday, April 3.
