WMTW reports that Maine native and former NASCAR driver Ricky Craven has purchased Speedway 95 in Hermon, taking over from longtime owner Delano Merritt, who has been the sole owner of the track since 2010, according to a press release.

Dylan Slepian of Dix Hills ended a three-year dry spell for he and car owner Rob Pelis Saturday night at Riverhead Raceway as he drove to victory in the annual Baldwin, Evans & Jarzombek 77 NASCAR Modified event. Dylan’s winning pass for many was reminiscent of winning passes executed by “Charging” Charlie Jarzombek when Slepian took to the outside lane to take the lead and eventual victory, his first since September of 2022.
Austin Dillion won the Cup race at Richmond. Joey Logano of Middletown, CT ended up fourth while Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT ended his evening in 35th place.
