Justin Bonsignore found himself in North Wilkesboro Speedway Victory Lane twice this weekend. The driver of the No. 51 Phoenix Communications machine for Kenneth Massa Motorsports swept the weekend of Modified competition at the historic track – winning both the SMART Modified Tour season-finale 99 on Saturday and the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Brushy Mountain Powersports 150 on Sunday. Three-time NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champion Justin Bonsignore will compete in two events this weekend at North Wilkesboro Speedway. Bonsignore will make his first start in the SMART Modified Tour, driving the No. 51 for Ken Massa Motorsports in the 99-lap SMART season finale on Saturday evening. On Sunday, Bonsignore returns to NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour racing in the Brushy Mountain Powersports 150, the penultimate race of the season.
NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Returns to North Wilkesboro Speedway For Crucial Championship Tilt
After the race was postponed for two weeks due to Hurricane Helene‘s impact on the Appalachain Mountains, North Wilkesboro Speedway is set to host the penultimate event of the 2024 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season.
Last year saw NASCAR‘s oldest division visit North Wilkesboro for the first time in its long, prestigious history. A field of 38 cars showed up to take the green flag, with veteran Matt Hirschman bringing home the victory over the championship frontrunners in Ron Silk and Justin Bonsignore. (more…)

THOMPSON, Conn. – Justin Bonsignore was in Thompson Speedway victory lane again on Sunday afternoon. For the 14th time in his career, Bonsignore captured victory on the high-banks in Connecticut – leading the most laps and taking the lead back late after a pit road miscue to rocket to another win.

Thompson, CT — The American-Canadian Tour got the second day of the Sunoco World Series off to a strong start with their Sunoco World Series 75. Brandon Barker and Tom Carey III lead the way to the green flag just before former Thompson Late Model champion Brian Tagg dove sideways across the frontstretch grass to call out the lone caution. The international roster of drivers kept it lean and green after that, even as several drivers fell out with mechanical issues throughout the 75-lap sprint. In the end, Tom Carey III backed up his September extra-distance win to claim his third career American-Canadian Tour win in the ‘Brookside Ride’ while former Seekonk Speedway champion Ryan Kuhn kept him honest, following just a car-length behind through the second half of the event to claim second. Polesitter Brandon Barker held on to take third over Quebec’s Jonathan Bouvrette. (more…)
