The stars and cars of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour return to action Saturday night for the running of the Cheshire County Clash 200 at New Hampshire’s Monadnock Speedway (6 p.m. ET on FloRacing).
The race, the third of the 2025 Modified Tour season, doubles as the opening round of the Whelen Short Track Cup mini-series that offers more than $20,000 in additional bonuses to teams that compete in all three rounds.
Events in New Hampshire, Maine & Canada Make Up Dates
WALPOLE, N.H. – Granite State Pro Stock Series (GSPSS) officials announced today the full schedule of events for the 2025 season. The series will make visits to two different states (New Hampshire and Maine) and will also head out of the United States for the first time in series history, with a trip to Canada in September.

MARTINSVILLE, Va. (Oct. 26, 2024) – Justin Bonsignore wasn’t going to be denied his fourth NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour championship, as he dominated the season finale Virginia is for Racing Lovers 300 at Martinsville Speedway to take home the Grandfather Clock and the year-end title.
The championship marks Bonsignore’s fourth title (2018, 2020, 2021, 2024), and the win – his first at Martinsville Speedway – gave him sole possession of second on the all-time Whelen Modified Tour wins list with 45.
WINCHESTER, N.H. – Neither a swarming field of 24 JDV Open Modifieds or a 100-minute rain delay could keep Bennington Blaster Matt Kimball from victory lane Saturday at Monadnock Speedway. (more…)
WINCHESTER, N.H. – Modified super star Brian Robie won Sunday’s 80-lap NHSTRA Modified feature at Monadnock Speedway, first setting fast time in time trials, and then leading the final 54 laps of the afternoon’s main event to top the second annual Duel at The Dog biggie. (more…)
WINCHESTER, N.H. – Doug Coby took the Tommy Baldwin Racing No. 7NY to NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Victory Lane on Saturday evening at Monadnock Speedway. Driving the historic Modified entry, Coby dominated the majority of the second annual Duel at the Dog 200, earning a special bulldog trophy and the right to be called a champion of competition at New Hampshire’s high-banked oval.
