NASCAR México Series to Debut in Panama With Historic Race

For the first time ever, NASCAR México Series arrives in Panama with an official championship round in Central America, marking a historic milestone in regional motorsports.

The series will hit the track at Autódromo Panamá on Saturday, September 13, featuring its two categories: NASCAR México and Challenge Series.

PANAMA CITY (April 8, 2025) — The NASCAR México Series is set to make history with its first-ever points-paying race in Central America, as Panama prepares to host a milestone event for the region’s motorsports scene.

NASCAR Diversity Internship Program Announces 2023 Class

Daytona Beach, Fla. (May 31, 2023) NASCAR announced today its 22^nd NASCAR Diversity Internship Program (NDIP) class welcoming undergraduate and graduate students to NASCAR. The class of 37 students completed orientation during the Coca-Cola 600 race weekend in Charlotte. Many in the group had the opportunity to experience their first NASCAR race, visit the NASCAR Hall of Fame, Hendrick Motorsports and the Motor Racing Network facilities. (more…)

NASCAR Announces Launch of NASCAR Brasil Sprint Race

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Nov 16, 2022) — NASCAR today announced the creation of NASCAR Brasil Sprint Race, the sanctioning body’s fourth international series and first in South America. The series, which will begin competition in 2023, is a partnership between NASCAR and the GT Sprint Race series in Brazil.

NASCAR Brasil Sprint Race joins the NASCAR Mexico Series, NASCAR Pinty’s Series (Canada) and NASCAR Whelen Euro Series as the fourth international series racing under the NASCAR banner. In 2023, NASCAR racing will take place in 12 different countries on three continents.
