Joey Logano Outlasts Dirt Track Ringers For Bristol Victory
After a less than stellar weekend of attempting to race on the new dirt track at Bristol, Monday saw clear skies that allowed to race to continue. The rains meant the track was basically a “mud pit” and any attempt at practice or qualifying coated the cars in mud in just a single lap. If you weren’t the lead car, you literally couldn’t see. It was a scene that was very reminiscent of the disastrous tire issues at Indianapolis in 2008.

Rising Star Derek Griffith Of Hudson, NH Set To Make South Alabama Speedway Debut In Rattler 250
Derek Griffith, one of the hottest Super Late Model drivers in the country, will be making his South Alabama Speedway debut on Sunday for the 45th Annual Rattler 250.
The 24-year-old native of Hudson, N.H., is coming off his second straight World Series of Asphalt Late Model championship held in New Smyrna Beach, Fla., as part of Florida Speedweeks last month. Just as impressive is he earned seven top-10 finishes in eight starts in the ARCA Menards Series in 2020. (more…)
Logano Left Puzzled After Runner-up Finish at Phoenix
Joey Logano didn’t lose the Instacart 500 at Phoenix Raceway because of a lousy last restart or a vibration. Logano admitted afterward that even if he had broken away from Martin Truex Jr. on the final restart, he would probably have been overtaken by Truex at some point during the run to the checkered flag.

This weekend should be one full of happy memories for Joey Logano of Middletown, CT. The NASCAR Cup Series is heading to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the Pennzoil 400, which Logano won last season. Fresh off a second consecutive World Series of Asphalt Super Late Model championship, the New Hampshire driver will make his Rattler 250 debut next weekend, March 12-14. Surprise Peformances Shake Up Early NASCAR Cup Standings
It’s just two races but it’s never too early to start counting championship points towards the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs.

If any NASCAR watchers are skeptical about how much crashes can hurt, they should speak with Joey Logano.NASCAR has made numerous safety improvements over the years to prevent tragic deaths or severe injuries.
