Christopher Bell – No. 20 DEWALT Toyota Camry XSE Preview – Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway

BELL AT BRISTOL: Christopher Bell’s best NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) Bristol finish came in the night race last year where he qualified on the pole, led 187 laps and finished third. Overall, Bell has earned two top-five and four top-10 finishes at Bristol. The Oklahoma native also has four NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) starts at Bristol, including a win in April 2019 and a runner-up finish in August 2018. Additionally, Bell has three NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series starts at BMS highlighted by a pole and two top-10 finishes.
BRISTOL DIRT WINNER: Bell won the dirt race at Bristol in April 2023. After starting fourth, he led the final 100 laps to take home the win.

Michael McDowell and Love’s/Peak Return to Bristol for Annual Night Race

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (September 18, 2024) – The Bristol Night Race is next on the NASCAR Cup Series calendar with Michael McDowell and the No. 34 team making their second return of the season to the Last Great Colosseum.

McDowell returns to the World’s Fastest Half-Mile coming off a recent Top-10 at Watkins Glen International, last weekend. His best career-finish at Bristol came last year when he finished sixth in the fall event, he also finished 11th in the spring race earlier this year. (more…)

Barre, VT — The Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers kicked-off Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Championship Night at Thunder Road with a pair of cautions to start feature racing on Friday. Ty Delphia broke away with the early lead as Mike Martin dropped back with mechanical woes under the hood. A murderer’s row behind him had hard-charging Kyle Streeter and Brandon Gray quickly pull up to Delphia’s rear bumper with Mike MacAskill also digging deep looking for his first win of the season. Race Of Champions Modified Series Heads To Chemung Speedrome This Saturday For The Continuing Tradition Of “The Night Before The Glen”

Chemung, NY – (September 9, 2024) – The Race of Champions Sportsman Modified Series will play the headline role this Saturday at the Chemung (NY) Speedrome, September 14 for the traditional running of the “Night before the Glen”. The event is always one of the most anticipated events of the racing season in the Southern Tier region of the state.

Kevin Timmerman of Ontario, NY, is the most recent winner in Series competition and is one of six winners this season in a very competitive season. Timmerman won the last Series race at Spencer Speedway in Williamson, NY, his home track.

Mid-Afternoon Rain Causes Race Cancelation Saturday Night For Grandview Speedway, Spunktown Tavern & Restaurant Championship Night Determines Point Titles Next Saturday September 14

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Following significant rainfall during a line of storms mid-afternoon, and with more rain showers on the radar screen to follow for the next several hours leading up to race time Saturday evening, track management had to once again cancel the planned race events for this week at Grandview Speedway.

The mid and late day precipitation left the speedway facility very wet, and with no drying weather expected right after the rain moved through, it would not have allowed the track crew a chance to be able to prepare the track in a timely manner for the evening’s race program. (more…)
