NASCAR and Stanley Black & Decker (NYSE: SWK), the world’s largest tool company and a leader in outdoor equipment, announced last week at Daytona International Speedway that American tool icon CRAFTSMAN® will return as the title sponsor of the NASCAR Truck Series beginning in 2023. After serving as the series’ title sponsor from its inception in 1995 to 2008, the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series will make its homecoming at Daytona International Speedway on February 17, 2023.
Just two more weekends off until the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series returns to action at Kansas Speedway for the Playoffs Round of 8 finale, the Kansas Lottery 200 on Sept. 9 (7:30 p.m. ET on FS1, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR). Joe Gibbs Racing’s Ty Gibbs raced his way to Victory Lane last weekend at Michigan International Speedway to post his series leading fifth win of the season, surpassing his impressive four Xfinity Series wins in 18 starts from the 2021 season and bringing his career total to an impressive nine wins in 39 starts – a winning percentage of 23%.
It was a night of high emotion, nostalgia and some good old school NASCAR Modified racing Saturday at Riverhead Raceway and when the dust settled on the annual Baldwin, Evans & Jarzombek 77 for the second year in a row Kyle Soper of Manorville sat in the winners circle. Soper using a perfect balance of patience and aggression took the lead with just five laps left in the contest from Timmy Solomito of Islip to pocket his 4th win of 2022, 28th of his career. (more…)
For the fourth time this season, Sam Rameau will strap in behind the wheel of the No. 06 for Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series racing this Saturday night. Following an action-packed race on the multi-elevational Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course last weekend, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will have this weekend off to prepare for the regular season finale next weekend at Pocono Raceway – the CRC Brakleen 150 on Saturday, July 23 at noon ET on FOX, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Channel 90).
