SpeedFest 2026 Rescheduled as Part of Georgia Summer Nationals Weekend at Cordele Motor Speedway
CORDELE, GA – Officials with SpeedFest, Track Enterprises, and Cordele Motor Speedway have announced that SpeedFest 2026 has been rescheduled and will now be contested as part of the 14th Annual Georgia Summer Nationals, featuring a SpeedFest / SuperFest doubleheader weekend on Friday–Saturday, July 31–August 1.

Record books reflect Allison as fourth on all-time Cup Series wins list with 85

(Oct. 23, 2024) — NASCAR today announced its recognition of Bobby Allison as the official winner of the NASCAR Cup Series Myers Brothers Memorial at Bowman Gray Stadium on August 6, 1971. The NASCAR record books have been updated to reflect Allison in sole possession of fourth place on the all-time Cup Series wins list with 85 wins.

Woodstock, NH — The Twin 76-formula certainly works for fireworks both on and off the track on Independence Day weekend and Saturday at White Mountain Motorsports Park was all the proof that anyone would ever need. The revival of North Wilkesboro Speedway moved one step closer on Thursday night as Speedway Motorsports revealed its initial plans for the historic North Carolina short track.
Speedway Motorsports President and CEO, Marcus Smith was the guest speaker at the Wilkes County Chamber of Commerce 75th Membership Celebration, where he shared conceptual renderings for what was once the oldest venue in NASCAR … and could be once again. (more…)
