Modified and Supermodified winner Jon McKennedy announced Thursday a busy schedule for the 2025 racing season. Again for 2025, McKennedy will compete in both the Tour-Type Modifieds and the Supermodifieds, mixed between multiple different divisions with both classes.
Between all divisions, McKennedy has roughly 35 races planned.
CONCORD, N.C. — Late Model competitor and second-generation driver Taylor Hoar is the first Vermont resident to be selected as a finalist in the prestigious Kulwicki Driver Development Program.
The daughter of eight-time American-Canadian Tour champion Brian Hoar, Taylor also is the first female KDDP finalist since Kate Re in 2022. (more…)

Oxford, ME — One last go-round for the ACT Flying Tiger Tri-State Series brought twenty-four Vermont and New Hampshire drivers over the border to the State of Maine for Saturday’s championship finale for the three-race series at Oxford Plains Speedway. While an end-of-season Flying Tiger showdown has been held annually at Oxford Plains since 2019, Saturday’s showcase became a first for ‘North America’s #1 Support Division’ with a point-counting event crowning a champion at the 3/8-mile Maine oval! Barre, VT — After announcing the return of a true ACT Flying Tiger Tour last November, the 2024 Flying Tiger Tri-State Series comes to an end at Oxford Plains Speedway this Saturday, October 19. After starting off the season twenty-nine strong at North Woodstock, New Hampshire’s White Mountain Motorsports Park back in May and battling in the Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac 100 at Barre, Vermont’s Thunder Road Int’l Speedbowl in August, the Vacationland 75 is calling teams over from the Twin State area to take on the 3/8-mile Maine oval and wrap up the 2024 season in a fun way! Oxford, ME — With beautiful weather over Eastern Maine, forty-three teams entered Oxford Plains Speedway on Saturday with the American-Canadian Tour faithful running door-to-door in the Oxford 125 as part of the 51st annual Oxford 250 weekend. ACT officials confirmed all forty-three teams would start Saturday’s feature event and Derry, New Hampshire’s Erick Sands took the pole position by virtue of a +5 handicap earned in heat race Plus/Minus qualifying events. Oxford, ME — The persistent spring rains once again aggravated officials, teams and fans of the American-Canadian Tour during the start to the 2024 season on their return to Oxford Plains Speedway. While early morning rains dried off, grey clouds returned just after the halfway point of the American-Canadian Tour special and added area-wide lightning threats pushed both ACT and Oxford Plains officials to end the program early with the ACT Pine Tree State event official after completing 65 of the originally scheduled 125 laps. Naples ME – April 25th – Officials at the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) and Oxford Plains Speedway (OPS) have now received more than 40 entries for the 1st Annual All That’s Metal 300 at office headquarters. Number nine on the entry list goes to the ever popular Senoia, Georgia driver Andrew “Bubba” Pollard who is no stranger to Oxford Plains Speedway and will now visit the speedway twice in 2024.
