(May 4, 2026) – Victory Junction invites the public to be part of a milestone moment as the 30th anniversary Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America rolls into Camp on Saturday, May 9, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at 4500 Adam’s Way in Randleman, N.C., with gates opening from 10 to 10:45 a.m.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet riders, take photos with celebrity guests, receive autographs, and purchase memorabilia benefiting Victory Junction.

CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 4, 2025 – The Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America today announced it raised over $1.4 million after completing its 29th Anniversary Ride, which took place May 3 – 9, 2025. Funds raised directly benefit Victory Junction – a camp in Randleman, North Carolina servicing children with chronic medical illnesses. The Ride’s donation supports summer camperships, building projects and maintenance programs.

RANDLEMAN, N.C. (Dec. 13, 2024) – With the support of his family, NASCAR legend Richard Petty has donated approximately 403 acres of land to Victory Junction, a year-round camp for children with serious illnesses and chronic medical conditions. The donation includes 8 parcels of land adjacent to the camp’s current 140 acres, 84 which were originally donated by Richard Petty and his late wife, Lynda, to help launch the Camp 20 years ago.

NASCAR has existed in the US for over 75 years, but only a few drivers—and their cars—have attained legendary status. Richard Petty is arguably at the very top of the list, and though he drove several cars throughout his long career, the 1970 Plymouth Superbird is the one people remember.
