Momentum of GMG Racing Remains Strong with a Five-Car Entry for the SRO America Race Weekend at VIRginia International Raceway

DANVILLE, Virginia (April 17, 2025) – The memory and momentum of GMG Racing and their career weekend one race ago at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) remains strong as the championship-winning team brings a season-high five entries, and several 2025 title bids, to this weekend’s SRO America event at VIRginia International Raceway (VIR). The race is the first event of the second half of SRO America’s racing season and comes after the series’ traditional early-summer break following the most recent race weekend at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) in late April.

Track Laps for Charity on Aug. 12 to Benefit Victory Junction and Richmond Raceway Cares

RANDLEMAN, N.C. (Jul. 15, 2025) – Victory Junction has partnered with Richmond Raceway Cares for this year’s Track Laps for Charity, set for Tuesday, Aug. 12, 5 to 7 p.m. For a $20 donation, participants can drive their personal vehicles five laps around Richmond Raceway’s legendary ¾-mile oval.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Victory Junction, a cost-free camp for children living with complex medical and physical needs, and Richmond Raceway Cares, the charitable arm of the Raceway.

Flying Lizard Motorsports Returns to GT4 America with Father-Son Duo in BMW M4 GT4

On Sunday, Shane Van Gisbergen won the Cup race with Joey Logano of Middletown, CT finishing ninth . Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT ended his day in 12th.

In the Xfinity Series, on Saturday, it was Connor Zilisch who scored the win. Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT came in 23rd while Kris Wright ended his day in 29th. Wright drives for Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our.

On the Indy Car scene Alex Palou won the Iowa race. Santino Ferrucci of Woodbury, CT ended his day in 15th.

Large Crowd Watches John Beatty Jr. Pad Riverhead Raceway NASCAR Modified Championship Lead With Saturday Victory

Two-time and defending Riverhead Raceway NASCAR Modified champion John Beatty Jr. of Merrick scored his first victory of the 2025 Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series Saturday before a packed house at Riverhead Raceway. Beatty, who came to Saturday’s race with a 28-point cushion in the championship chase furthered that advantage with his 14th career win, becoming the fifth winner in as many NASCAR Modified races at Riverhead this season.

Former Riverhead Raceway Champion Kyle Soper Giving Back With Bandolero Trophy Donation

Fans of all sports hear it all the time as broadcasters mention many athletes never forget where they came from. Such is the case with former four-time NASCAR Modified champion Kyle Soper of Manorville who Saturday morning stopped by Riverhead Raceway to donate all the trophies he accumulated for his 45 victories across four divisions; it is Kyle’s wishes the re-purposed hardware would go to INEX Bandolero winners starting Sunday July 27th.

(July 12, 2025) – JR Motorsports announced today that Roto-Rooter, a leading provider of plumbing, drain cleaning, and water cleanup services will return to the organization as a primary partner for seven NASCAR Xfinity Series events each year beginning in 2026, including races with Justin Allgaier and additional JRM drivers to be established at a later date. NCS Race Recap: Shane van Gisbergen Triumphs At Sonoma For Third NASCAR Cup Win Of 2025

SONOMA, Calif. — Shane van Gisbergen proved on Sunday that it’s impossible to keep a road course superstar down for more than a brief interlude.

After finishing second to Connor Zilisch in Saturday’s Xfinity Series race, van Gisbergen was back on top on a pleasant Sunday afternoon in wine country, winning the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway.
