Stewart-Haas Racing’s Cole Custer lands his first road course win

JR Motorsports’ Justin Allgaier appeared to have the race at Portland International Raceway in the bag last weekend, which would’ve made him the first back-to-back winner of the 2023 season. But he got knocked out in Turn 1, ultimately giving Stewart-Haas Racing’s Cole Custer a straight shot to Victory Lane.

Matt Hirschman Earns “Mr. Modified 75” Victory In First Race Of Champions Modified Series Visit To Lorain Raceway Park

South Amherst, Ohio – (June 5, 2023) – Matt Hirschman of Northampton, Pa., scored his first victory in Race of Champions Modified Series competition this past Saturday night at Lorain Raceway Park in South Amherst, Ohio in the “Mr. Modified 75”, the Series first visit to the track. In Hirschman’s career, it was the 35th different track for him to record a win at and the 11th different state where he’s visited victory lane.

Second generation driver Chris Young of Calverton snapped a two plus year winless spell Saturday night when he powered his way to victory in the Riverhead Raceway 50-lap NASCAR Modified feature event. It was the third career win for Young who last won on October 31st of 2020.

Over the past weekend during the Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series event at Riverhead Raceway, track owners Connie Partridge and Tom Gatz announced that Chuck Steuer of Bohemia and Keith “Flash” Gordon of Miller Place will be inducted onto the Cromarty Wall of Champions Saturday evening June 17th. The inductions of the two soft spoken drivers, both multi time track champions proceed the annual Baldwin, Evans & Jarzombek 77 Memorial for the NASCAR Modifieds.

Bobby Santos III Wins First Career Hoosier Hundred With USAC Silver Crown

If Friday night’s Hoosier Hundred had been a standard 100-lap affair, the closing scene very well might’ve been played out to a completely different ending for Bobby Santos.
