As the laps dwindled down on a chilly Sunday in November last year during the Islip 300 at Riverhead Raceway, a caution flag waved on lap 276 setting up a double file restart that would go a long way in determining who would win the race.
The anticipation and intensity that has been building over the last 35 races of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season will culminate this Sunday (Nov. 6) in the Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway (3 p.m. ET on NBC, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
