STAFFORD, Conn. — Justin Bonsignore finished 13th in the rain-shortened NAPA Spring Sizzler at Stafford Motor Speedway on Friday, April 30. The race was deemed official after just 130 of the 150 lap distance due to persistent rain in the area. Doug Coby Finishes 12th in Rain Shortened Spring Sizzler at Staffod Speedway
STAFFORD, Conn. — Doug Coby wrapped the 49th annual NAPA Spring Sizzler at Stafford Motor Speedway with a 12th place finish in the rain-shortened event on Friday, April 30. Coby qualified the Mayhew Tools No. 10 in the fourth position and ran inside the top-five for the first portion of the race, taking the lead from Matt Swanson just after lap 50. (more…)

Defending NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champion Justin Bonsignore of Holtsville will return to where it all began for him when the tour makes its first of three visits to Riverhead Raceway Saturday May 15th and with him bring a four race WMT win streak into the Miller Lite 200. The third week of May date is the earliest the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour has ever visited the eastern Long Island facility since it’s inception in 1985. Time was of the essence on Saturday as a thunderstorm was barreling toward Talladega Superspeedway in the middle of the NASCAR Xfinity Series race. The competition was fierce but as the skies opened up, it was Kaulig Racing’s Jeb Burton that was able to hold onto the lead just before the final caution came out before the race was red-flagged and ultimately called because of weather securing his first career NASCAR Xfinity Series win.
