Magnus Racing To Pause After Rolex 24
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (September 16, 2024) – While evaluating a number of ways to point fingers normally found in such an announcement, Magnus Racing and team owner John Potter have decided to simply state the team will pause operations for 2025, following the upcoming 63rd Running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona.
Breaking with a long-held sportscar tradition of blaming the BoP, series rules, or some randomly benign issue to skirt accountability, Potter will instead cite business commitments as his reason to shift focus; but he’s actually telling the truth. (more…)
Kaiden Fisher Crowned Thunder Road’s Youngest King of the Road on Lenny’s Night
Barre, VT — The Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers kicked-off Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Championship Night at Thunder Road with a pair of cautions to start feature racing on Friday. Ty Delphia broke away with the early lead as Mike Martin dropped back with mechanical woes under the hood. A murderer’s row behind him had hard-charging Kyle Streeter and Brandon Gray quickly pull up to Delphia’s rear bumper with Mike MacAskill also digging deep looking for his first win of the season. After already clinching the track championship one week ago, Gray faced off with 2023 Flying Tiger champ Streeter with a long stretch ahead. (more…)

Roussanne Dominates the Return to Action in Barcelona
- The Alpine ELF Cup Series returned with Charles Roussanne (VPS Racing) winning both races at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
- Alexandre Gadois (Schumacher CLRT) and Thibaut Bossy (Herrero Racing) shared the honours in the Challengers category, as did Philippe Bourgois (Race Cars Consulting) and Frédéric de Brabant (Chazel Technologie Course) among the Gentlemen.
- Overall leader Charles Roussanne will have his first chance to secure the title at Circuit Paul Ricard (4-6 October)

NASCAR Xfinity Series: Road Course Racing at The Glen
The NASCAR Xfinity Series drivers will be back for some left and right turn action as they head to Watkins Glen International on Saturday, September 14 for the Mission 200 at The Glen at 3 p.m. ET (USA Network, NBC Sports App, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
Watkins Glen International has hosted 29 NASCAR Xfinity Series races, producing 18 different race winners and just as many pole winners.
Nine Xfinity Series Watkins Glen races have been won from the pole or first starting position, most recently by Joey Logano in 2018.
Michael McDowell and Benebone Head to The Glen, Searching for a Road Course Win
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (September 10, 2024) – The NASCAR Cup Series heads to the Finger Lakes of Upstate New York and Watkins Glen International for road course racing this weekend.
Michael McDowell returns to his road racing roots, looking for another solid finish. So far this season, the No. 34 has had two Top-5s on road courses, a 2nd place at Sonoma and a 5th place at the Chicago Street Race. (more…)
