Separate from the event-wide celebration of Formula 1’s 75th anniversary and many of the familiar classes that appear every August, a field of 26 cars hailing from all eras of the International Race of Champions – the former IROC series – will bring a new wrinkle to North America’s version of the Goodwood Road Racing Festival.

Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR) Celebrates Fifth Anniversary as Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion Sanctioning Body at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca

HSRMONTEREY, California (August 12, 2025) – Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR) celebrates its fifth anniversary this week at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca as the official sanctioning body of the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, the premier historic and vintage motorsports event in North America that takes place August 13 – 16.

The HSR team returned to Monterey last week to assist in the successful running of the Monterey Pre-Reunion and Corkscrew Hillclimb. The HSR group of primarily experienced historic and vintage motorsports professionals continues straight through this Saturday’s final day of the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion.

KoenigseggÖrebro, Sweden – August 7, 2025  Koenigsegg has once again claimed the coveted 0–400–0 km/h world record for homologated road cars at Örebro airfield on August 7, 2025.

Factory test driver Markus Lundh piloted the Jesko Absolut to an astonishing new time of 25.21 seconds, surpassing both the company’s own previous benchmark from June 2024 and everyone else.

Twenty-nine rk Miles Street Stocks piled in for the annual Bolduc Metal Recycling Street Stock Special 50 lapper, Round #2 in the Vermont Agency of Transportation Triple Crown while 103 Enduro cars from across New England traveled up for the 41st annual People’s Race!
