(Stafford Springs, CT)—With Stafford Speedway’s SK Light division partaking in double features this Friday night, Aug. 30th as part of Maybury Back to SKool Kids Night, Ron Midford, Jr. will be in search of his first SK Light victory with his #76 Constantine Paving and Sealing car. Midford is in the midst of his third full season of SK Light competition after winning 30+ features and 2 championships in the Senior Champs division of Wild Thing Karts and is looking to go one position higher after posting a career best finish of second place in the season opening NAPA Spring Sizzler® event. Ron Silk Wins 52nd Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler At Stafford Speedway

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Motor Speedway hosted the rescheduled 2024 NAPA Spring Sizzler®, “The Greatest Race in the History of Spring,” on Friday, May 10th with Open Modified cars. Ron Silk came up the big winner for the second consecutive year, taking home a grand total of $34,750 for his efforts.

Ron Silk Dominates Thompson’s NASCAR Modified Icebreaker 150

Thompson, CT — A much nicer day awaited fans on day two of the 50th Icebreaker at Thompson Speedway. Six star-studded features took to the 0.625-mile oval on Sunday, as did the peaks of sunshine to greet the fans in the stands. While the Street Stocks were able to start their 2024 track championship season on Saturday, the rest of the track championship line-up got their year started with plenty of action on Sunday along with the roar of the mighty NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour with their return to Icebreaker weekend. Ron Silk Avoids Trouble and Captures Second NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Championship

MARTINSVILLE, Va. (Oct. 27, 2022) – A season-long battle between two veteran champions came down to the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season finale and Ron Silk held on to secure his second career Tour championship with a sixth-place finish in the Virginia is for Racing Lovers 200 at Martinsville Speedway. NASCAR Cup Series regular Ryan Preece took home the Grandfather clock, winning in a sentimental car he prepared at his home shop.

Ron Silk Seeking Third Consecutive Stafford Victory in NAPA Fall Final

(Stafford Springs, CT)—In their last 2 starts at Stafford Speedway, Ron Silk and the #16 Future Homes / Blue Mountain Machine team have managed to find their way to NAPA Victory Lane. Silk won the 2022 NAPA Fall Final and then won the 51^st Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler® with a dominating drive that saw him lead 86 of 100 laps back in April.

Ron Silk picked up where he left off in modified competition at Stafford by following up his NAPA Fall Final victory last September with a victory in his NAPA Duel Qualifying Race along with taking the checkered flag in the 51^st Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler.
