(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted AZ Roofing Kids Night on Friday, May 31st, the first of three kids nights scheduled for the 2024 season. It was a night of first-time 2024 winners with Marcello Rufrano taking the SK Modified® feature, Paul Varricchio, Jr. the Late Model feature, Nickolas Hovey the SK Light feature, Kyle Theriault the Limited Late Model feature, and Tyler Trott the Street Stock feature. AZ Roofing’s bonus will boost the weekly SK Light feature winner’s purse to $800 and with 22 races on the schedule, SK Light drivers have the opportunity to earn an extra $3,300 during the 2024 season.

The URC Sprints will join the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds and the T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman for a huge triple-header program of racing under the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series banner, which will feature qualifying races for all three divisions leading into the 30-lap T.P. (Stafford Springs, CT)—Open Modified cars returned to Stafford Motor Speedway for their fourth of five visits of the 2023 season on Friday, June 7th for the GAF Roofing Open 80. Woody Pitkat started up front and ran among the top-2 or top-3 cars all night long but he had to hold off a strong challenge over the final 10 laps of the race from George Bessette, Jr. in order to take the checkered flag.
