Jason Raymond Seeking First Stafford Victory in Midstate Site Development Street Stock 30 at Stafford Speedway

(Stafford Springs, CT)—In the midst of his third full-time season of Street Stock racing at Stafford Speedway, Somers, CT native Jason Raymond is still searching for his first victory. Raymond and his #49 Barn Package Store team have been steadily closing in on the top spot of the NAPA Victory Lane podium, recording a best finish of third during his rookie season in 2023 and two runner-up efforts last season. Raymond’s on-track performances suggest that it’s only a matter of time before he breaks through and takes home a winner’s trophy. (Stafford Springs, CT)—After 3 races, the 2025 SK Modified® season at Stafford sees Michel Christopher, Jr. and the #82 New England Turf / Eastport Feeds / P.T. Watts / Constantine Paving / McKinney Construction team sitting atop the points. Christopher has been consistent as well as fast in 2025, being one of only 2 drivers to record a top-10 finish in each of the first three events. Although Christopher is leading the standings for the first time in his 11-year SK Modified® career, he is still looking for his first win of the season.

Bobby Stirk, III Seeking First Late Model Victory in Paradiso Insurance 50 After Piecing Car Back Together

(Stafford Springs, CT)—With Stafford Speedway’s Late Model division set to run their annual extra distance feature event, the Paradiso Insurance 50, this Friday September 6, Bobby Stirk, III and the #9 team sponsored by A6A Associates, Tri-State Elevator & Hoist, and Costa & Son Construction are ready to fight for their first Late Model victory. The fact that Stirk will even be at the track to try to win the race would be a small miracle after crashing his car and seeing the front end briefly catch fire in last week’s feature event. But thanks to some hard work by his crew, Stirk will be at the track ready to chase the checkered flag.
