Sadler-Stanley Racing Heads For King of the Modifieds at South Boston Speedway

Sadler-Stanley Racing looks to defend the king crown this Saturday at South Boston Speedway.

Last year, driver Luke Baldwin captured the King of the Modifieds race win with the SMART Modified Tour, hoisting the trophy, wearing the robe and putting on the crown as King of the Modifieds, his first career Tour-Type Modified win.

This week, it’s the second annual King of the Modifieds. Baldwin will look to make it back-to-back crowns, while team driver Jonathan Cash will also look to take it away from him and keep it inside the Sadler-Stanley Racing stable.

Luke Baldwin Driven in Quest To Repeat as SMART Modified Tour Champion

After a rookie season that ended with a championship, Luke Baldwin is ready for the challenge of a repeat in 2025. Baldwin will return to Sadler-Stanley Racing in their PSR Chassis, Pace-O-Matic No. 7VA to contest the full 14 race SMART Modified Tour schedule.

South Carolina 400 Highlighted by Dale Jr’s Bud Return, 56 Entries

Dale Earnhardt Jr. is going to reunite with Budweiser in the iconic stylized No. 8 but that isn’t the only highlight this weekend for the South Carolina 400 at Florence Motor Speedway.

The season ending crown jewel features 56 cars on the entry list and there are a great deal of short track superstars set to join Earnhardt in the pursuit of $10,000 and a win in the spiritual successor to the Myrtle Beach 400. (more…)

Justin Bonsignore found himself in North Wilkesboro Speedway Victory Lane twice this weekend. The driver of the No. 51 Phoenix Communications machine for Kenneth Massa Motorsports swept the weekend of Modified competition at the historic track – winning both the SMART Modified Tour season-finale 99 on Saturday and the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Brushy Mountain Powersports 150 on Sunday. Caleb Heady, Tommy Baldwin Racing Lead SMART Modified Tour Points Heading For Season Finale

Fresh off a top-five finish with the SMART Modified Tour at Tri-County Speedway last weekend, Tommy Baldwin Racing and driver Caleb Heady are set to race for the championship this Saturday. As the series heads to Motor Mile Speedway – a place both Heady and Baldwin Racing feel confident about – Heady leads by 37 points over NASCAR Hall of Famer Bobby Labonte, and 44 over Brandon Ward.
