Pensacola, FL – The wait is almost over as the season-opening weekend at Five Flags Speedway is now just one week away, highlighted by the Sunshine State 200 presented by Appalachian Sucker Punch on Friday–Saturday, March 13–14.

The marquee Super Late Model event will once again serve as the second race of the 2026 season for the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour, bringing some of the best drivers in pavement racing to the Gulf Coast.

The 22-year-old from Winter Haven, Florida, will drive the No. 5 Cathy Boyd’s Tax Service/Cappello Legal Ford Mustang for Hettinger Racing in the Pro Late Model division for the entirety of the 2026 season.

The event quickly gained momentum, serving as an early proving ground for rising stars and established veterans alike. SpeedFest was held at USA International Speedway for four seasons before the facility was sold and permanently closed.
