In 1926, on the beaches of Daytona, Florida, Joan LaCosta breaks a world speed record at 145 miles per hour. But Martins and LaCosta never face one another on the close-knit circuit of early American auto racing.
Seekonk Speedway Marquee Events, Weekly Track Championship Battles, Thrill Shows Return For New Year
SEEKONK, Mass. – Seekonk Speedway released today the full schedule of events for the 80th season of speed in 2025 at the Action Track of the East.

BECHTELSVILLE, PA JUNE 20, 2024 . . . . They are coming back. The 410 Sprints make a return visit to Grandview Speedway on Tuesday night, July 2 when HVAC Distributors present the Pennsylvania 410 Sprint Speed Week Series showcasing the $10,000 to win Hodnett Cup. Also on the program are the 358 NASCAR Modifieds with $3,000 going to the winner of their 30 lap main event. Gates open at 5 PM with race time set for 7:30 PM.
