GRAF JR. 2024 NXS 2^nd Race of Season: The August 23^rd race at the Daytona International Speedway will mark Joe Graf Jr.’s 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) 2nd race thus far in the season. Graf Jr. has a total of 9 previous starts at Daytona and scored a top 10 finish in 2023. Graf Jr. will be back at the World Center of Racing this weekend piloting the No. 19 JGR Toyota GR Supra for the first time this year on the two-and-a-half-mile oval course.

RETURN TO JGR: Graf Jr. competed in the full, 33 race NXS season in 2023 where he had three impressive top-10 performances at Daytona, Homestead, and Kansas, highlighted by a best finish of seventh at Daytona. (more…)

TRUEX AT DAYTONA: Ryan Truex heads to Daytona for his eighth start of his 2024 Xfinity Series campaign. Truex has five prior starts at Daytona, highlighted by a best finish of seventh in 2018. In total, Truex has accumulated one top-ten, three laps led, and an average finish of 16.8. MOORESVILLE, N.C. (August 21, 2024) – The NASCAR Cup Series makes their return to the Daytona (FL.) International Speedway. Grillo’s Pickles will go back-to-back with Todd Gilliland, partnering with the driver to make their debut at the track, after showcasing their green and white livery at the Michigan International Speedway.

For Gilliland, the historic Florida track shows much promise for him to capture his first win in the NASCAR Cup Series and lock himself into the 2024 playoffs, leading 16 laps at the 2.5-mile venue in this season’s Daytona 500. Daytona Notes: Denny Hamlin leads all active drivers with three wins, 11 top-five finishes, 12 top-10s and 676 laps led at Daytona International Speedway. All his wins have come in the Daytona 500. Kevin Gambacorta, the driver of the #23 Lavigne Law Chevrolet and Paul Varricchio, Jr., driver of the #39 Tavern on the Trax Chevrolet, kicked off the 2024 season racing one another for the season opening NAPA Spring Sizzler® victory and they are still the two drivers to beat in the race for the championship. Both Gambacorta and Varricchio opened the season with strong results, Gambacorta recording 6 consecutive podium finishes and 2 wins, and Varricchio recording 3 podium finishes, including his first career victory on May 31st, and they have continued to run well all season long as the only 2 drivers to record top-10 finishes in each of the first 11 races.

Kansas Speedway announced today that its NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race on Friday, Sept. 27, will be named the Kubota Tractor 200. NASCAR Cup Series Race at Kansas Speedway Renamed Hollywood Casino 400 Presented by ESPN BET

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Aug. 19, 2024) – Kansas Speedway’s NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs race on Sept. 29 has a new name. The track announced today that the race will now be called the Hollywood Casino 400 presented by ESPN BET.

ESPN BET is PENN Entertainment’s online sportsbook that is live in Kansas. Additionally, Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway is rebranding its physical sportsbook to become “ESPN BET Sportsbook” this month. The casino has been the entitlement partner of Kansas Speedway’s fall NASCAR Cup Series race since 2011, and the excitement it produces continues to grow.
