WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Jimmy Ryan had gone two years without winning a Sportsman Modified race at Devil’s Bowl Speedway until he scored on July 31. The next win took just four weeks, but that’s only part of the story. The Shoreham, Vt., veteran’s win was the highlight of The Stove Depot Night on Saturday, August 28, and Troy Audet, Chris Murray, Austin McKirryher, Willie Rice, Kamden Duffy, and Cody Greene also visited the winner’s circle. WINCHESTER, N.H.- Tommy O’Sullivan won the crown, Justin Beecher earned the belt, and Gordon Farnum, with his tenth win of the season, went where only five others have gone in 50 years. It all happened Saturday at Monadnock Speedway.
Lee, NH – Double features were the order of business for the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series Rodfather Late Model Sportsmen and MLM Diagnostic Services Pure Stocks at Lee USA Speedway Friday night, running their final round of the 2021m Norm Wrenn III Triple Crown series.
Between Cassius Clark and father Billy, they had gone 19 tries at the Oxford 250 without a win to show for it. After a late battle down the wire with one of Oxford’s best, that streak ended with the younger Clark in victory lane in spectacular fashion. (more…)
Anthony Nocella came alive at the right time during Saturday night’s Modified Racing Series feature at Oxford Plains Speedway. After spending the majority of the 75-lapper conserving, he made his charge, taking the lead from Stew McCormack in the final 20 laps and holding off a stiff challenge from Super Late Model standout Joey Doiron to take the win. Oxford, ME — Williamstown, VT’s Jimmy Hebert snapped one of the driest spells of his racing career by winning the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Oxford Plains 125 at Maine’s Oxford Plains Speedway on Saturday, August 28. The reigning ACT champion dove underneath Turner, ME’s Ben Rowe on the backstretch with 27 laps to go and led the rest of the way to become the first repeat winner this season.
