Winchester, NH – Saturday night Monadnock Speedway celebrated the return of the Tri Track Modified racing series, the speedway’s 51st anniversary and the life of Johnny Corliss, former racer and car owner. The evenings events tied together nicely. Corliss, a Winchester businessman, was in the field of racers on Monadnock’s opening night, August 13, 1971 and at his passing was owner of one the race cars competing in the Tri Track series. WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Elmo Reckner won big on an exciting night of dirt track racing at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Saturday, August 14, winning the Rutland Regional Medical Center “Healthcare Heroes Night” feature for the headline Sportsman Modified division. Other winners on the night included John Gosselin, Chris Murray, rookie Daryl Gebo, and Kamden Duffy. SCARBOROUGH, Maine — For the first time in his Granite State Pro Stock Series career, Corey Bubar held the checkered flag at a familiar track on Saturday, August 14. Bubar bested the top competition in the feature races to score the big win at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in the second and final stop for Granite State there this season.

WINCHESTER, N.H. — Strategy was the name of the game in the fourth round of the Tri Track Open Modified Series season at Monadnock Speedway on Saturday, August 14. While Chase Dowling started his day at the back of his qualifying heat and the 100-lap feature, the end of the 100-lap special sponsored by Wonder Casino saw him park the No. 9 Start Finish Motorsports machine in Victory Lane.

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Prior to the start of the 2020 racing season, Quinn Christopher, wife of the late Stafford Speedway legend Ted Christopher, established the Ted Christopher Drive for Safety Initiative. Last season over 100 Stafford drivers received either a nomex undershirt, helmet skirt, or head sock through the TC Safety initiative. Each of those drivers was also entered into a drawing to win a free Leaf firesuit, which was won by Meghan Fuller.
