(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted AZ Roofing Kids Night on Friday, May 30th, the first of three kids nights scheduled for the 2025 season. Keith Rocco was a SK Modified® winner for a second consecutive race, while Wayne Coury, Jr. won the Late Model feature, Chris Matthews won the SK Light feature, RJ Surdell won the Limited Late Model feature, and Bert Ouellette was a winner for the second time in 2025 in the Street Stock feature. There were two kids big wheel races with Memphis Genereux and Evan DaRos the winners.

NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Race at Seekonk Speedway Postponed to Sunday Due to Weather
J&R Precast 150 Moved to Sunday, June 1, at 3 p.m. ET
SEEKONK, Mass. — Due to forecasted inclement weather, Seekonk Speedway and NASCAR officials announced today that the J&R Precast 150 & NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series divisions will now race on Sunday, June 1 at 3 p.m.
The event will begin with NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour qualifying at 2:30 p.m., followed by qualifying heats for the Seekonk Late Models, Helger’s Sportsman and Sport Trucks.

Justin Bonsignore heads back to Seekonk looking to visit Victory Lane at the third-mile for the first time since 2018. That season, Bonsignore won at Seekonk en route to his first series championship. The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour returns to the northeast this weekend for a trip to the famed Cement Palace of Seekonk Speedway.
Open to the public since 1946, the Venditti family have overseen a proud, vibrant racing culture at Seekonk that includes Modified competition. The list of names who have won a weekly Modified Seekonk includes many of the discipline’s greatest drivers like Bugsy Stevens, Ron Bouchard and Geoff Bodine, among others.
