Get ready, Connecticut! The adrenaline-charged Tour of Destruction is set to ignite Stafford Speedway on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 6 PM. This high-octane spectacle will feature a thrilling lineup of events, including school bus races, car-crashing stunts, a front-wheel-drive stock demolition derby, stock enduro, reverse races, flag pole races, push races, car soccer, and motorcycle stunts. Early bird tickets for the first 500 fans are priced at $30 for adults and $10 for kids aged 3–12, with prices increasing as the event approaches. Puleo, Varricchio, Hovey, Sullivan, Clement, & Ouellette Score NAPA Spring Sizzler Feature Wins at Stafford Speedway
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted the 53rd Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler® along with its five weekly divisions on Sunday, April 27th. Feature winners on the day were Jon Puleo in the SK Modified® feature, Paul Varricchio, Jr. in the Late Model feature, Nickolas Hovey and Brian Sullivan were the winners of the two 20-lap SK Light duels that will set the starting field for the SK Light 30-lap feature on the Friday, May 9 Weekly Racing card, Matt Clement in the Limited Late Model feature, and Bert Ouellette in the Street Stock feature.
Stephen Kopcik Wins 53rd Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler At Stafford Speedway
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Motor Speedway hosted the 53rd Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler®, “The Greatest Race in the History of Spring,” on Sunday, April 27th with Open Modified cars. Stephen Kopcik overcame an early race penalty to work his way back to the front of the field and took control of the race in the second half to score his first career NAPA Spring Sizzler® victory.
Stafford Speedway’s NAPA Spring Sizzler Entry List Approaching 40 Cars

The entry list for now stands at 37 cars strong for “The Greatest Race in the History of Spring”, and it is a top-notch field of cars that includes 8 former Stafford track champions and 3 former NAPA Spring Sizzler® race winners.
Manafort Family to Serve as Grand Marshals For Stafford Speedway’s 53rd Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler

The Manafort Family will start the NAPA Spring Sizzler 100-lap event with the most famous words in motorsports, ‘Drivers start your engines.’
Norman Root, III Joining Stafford Speedway’s Limited Late Model Division for 2025 Season
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Following an impressive 2024 season that saw him win 6 races and come up just 1 point short of the Street Stock championship at Waterford Speedbowl, Old Saybrook native Norm Root, III will make the move into Stafford Speedway’s Limited Late Model division for the 2025 season. Root will be driving his family owned #80 Saybrook Rentals Chevrolet with his father, Norm, Jr. serving as his crew chief.

Riley Generators Energizing Limited Late Models at Stafford in 2025
(Stafford Springs, CT)—For the 2025 racing season at Stafford Motor Speedway, Riley Generators of East Windsor, CT will provide a $100 bonus to each Limited Late Model feature winner. With 21 races on the 2025 docket, Limited Late Model drivers will be racing for a piece of a $2,100 bonus pie. The 2025 season will mark the fourth consecutive season that Riley Generators has offered a first place contingency bonus in the Limited Late Model division.
McKinney Construction Continuing to Build Excitement in Stafford Speedway’s SK Lights
(Stafford Springs, CT)—For the 2025 season at Stafford Speedway, hometown company McKinney Construction will return to the track’s contingency program. McKinney will provide a weekly $100 bonus to each 2nd place finisher from Stafford’s SK Light Modified feature events. During the 2024 season 12 different drivers earned a contingency bonus from McKinney Construction.
