$10k In Bonus Money Added To Super & Pro Purses At All American 400 Weekend Nashville

(Nashville, TN) Officials from the ASA STARS National Tour along with Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway have announced that $10,000 in bonus money has been added to the Super Late Model and Pro Late Model purses for the Curb Records/Big Machine Vodka Spiked Coolers All American 400 by US Tank weekend, thanks to a generous community and race supporter. The bonuses have been added in part to raise awareness of the Down Syndrome Association of Middle Tennessee.
$5,000 has now been added to the winner’s share of the ASA STARS National Tour event on Sunday, November 3, which will now pay $20,000 to the winner. $1,000 has been added to the winner’s share of the Saturday night JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Pro Late Model 100 and will now pay $6,000 to win. The Curb Records/Big Machine Vodka Spiked Coolers All American 400 weekend is set for Friday-Sunday, November 1-3, 2024. Each of the three days will be action packed, with something for every race fan.
Action begins on Friday, November 1 with Championship Night for the ¼-mile classes. Six different feature events are set to take on the tight confines of the ¼-mile track to battle it out for the final points night of the season. Pensacola, FL (February 27, 2023) – An impressive list of drivers is lined up for the inaugural event for the ASA STARS National Tour, the Sunshine State 200, on March 10-11 at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, FL. 31 drivers are on the early entry list still two-weeks out from the historic event at the famed ½-mile oval in the Panhandle of Florida.
The list includes 20 champions of Late Model racing, seven Super Late Model crown jewel winners and two ARCA Champions. In fact, nearly 90-percent of the drivers currently registered have won Late Model races in their careers. (more…)
Derek Thorn Puts on Dominant Performance, Secures Long-Awaited Snowball Derby Win
Over the last three years, Derek Thorn has been pretty much unstoppable when it comes to the Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway. Despite that, Thorn entered Sunday’s 300-lap contest having never won the prestigious event.
Now, in his 10th attempt at chasing the Tom Dawson Trophy, Derek Thorn will finally get the chance to take the trophy home, securing the victory in one of the most dominating performances in Snowball Derby history. (more…)
