Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway Roars Back To Life

(Nashville, TN) Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway roars back to life on a new day this Sunday, July 2nd, for one of the largest short track racing events of the year.

The return of Super Late Models to “America’s Favorite Short Track” marks the first of two appearances at the historic track, and will host some of the greatest short track racers from both the northern based ASA/CRA: Super Series and southern based ASA/Southern Super Series battling it out to see which region reigns supreme.
Three former All American 400 winners have entered into Sunday’s event with last year’s champion Stephen Nasse, 2021 champion Matt Craig, and 2016 champion Bubba Pollard. All three wheelmen will use the North/South Challenge as a tune-up for the ASA STARS National Tour All American 400 championship, at the end of the season, in November.
A strong field of competitors stands in the former champions path as short track drivers from many disciplines descend on Music City for one of the most exciting nights of racing in the 2023 season!
Also joining in on all of the exciting action will be the local Pro Late Models, Big Machine Vodka Spiked Coolers Super Trucks, United States Air Force Legends, and Murfreesboro Fence Bandoleros! Dylan Fetcho currently leads fellow competitor Hunter Wright in the Pro Late Model point standings.
Grandstands open and qualifying begins at 3:00pm on Sunday, July 2nd with racing action beginning at 5:00pm.
