Hersey, Beecher Win, Storace, Witkum Top Winners At Claremont

CLAREMONT, N.H. – Russ Hersey continued his incredible out-of-retirement October winning streak, Justin Beecher soared to victory in the Super Streets, and Cole Littlewood, aboard a totally unfamiliar ride, dominated the Pro V8 Sportsman feature Saturday at Claremont Motorsports Park.

No fewer than a dozen feature events were contested Saturday, as the historic Thrasher Road speedplant hosted day two of its ambitious 2024 Fall Challenge three-pack. A staggering field of 106 cars filled the pits Saturday, none faster than the rocketship Little Webb’s 350 Super Modifieds, which blasted through two 25-lap feature events. (more…)

Schoolcraft, Curtis, Templeton Win Friday At Claremont

CLAREMONT, N.H. – Cam Curtis caught the break of the night Friday at Claremont Motorsports Park. It was a good one. For Robbie Curtis, same event, same turn, not so much.

Curtis won the Outlaw Late Model main event on day one of the historic oval’s three-day 2024 Fall Challenge event, Streeter had led all the way in the 30-lapper until two blundering backmarkers swept him up in the final turn, as both Curtis and Kyle Goodbout sped by. (more…)

Mike Christopher Jr. Saves Tires to Dash for Cash Win on Sunoco World Series Friday

Thompson, CT — After heat race qualifying events set the night’s feature line-ups, the Thompson Late Models took on the Big-T for the final event in their 2024 track championship season. Ryan Morgan and champion hopeful Brian Tagg lined-up alongside one another to lead the Late Models to green with defending champ Nick Johnson holding a 13 point lead over Tagg following the heats. Morgan would get the jump on the dominant outside groove with Johnson in tow as Tagg fell under attack by Derek Gluchacki and Matt Lowinski-Loh. Gluchacki powered under Morgan to take third and set his sights on Johnson at the head of the pack, dueling lap after lap with three-wide racing behind them. (more…)

Wolcott’s Marcel Gravel Takes Career Defining, Emotional Win in 62nd Vermont Milk Bowl

Barre, VT — Following the annual pomp and circumstance of the annual season ending classic, the brave drivers of the American-Canadian Tour took on the first of three Segments in the 62nd Vermont Milk Bowl presented by Northfield Savings Bank. Polesitter Gabe Brown jumped ahead to lead the pack early while collecting the first lap money of the event along with Marcel Gravel in second and Jimmy Hebert in third. Driving hard on the outside lane, Gravel launched to lead lap nine with Hebert and previous Milk Bowl winners Jason Corliss and Chris Pelkey in tow. A trio of mid-race, quick cycle cautions slowed the segment for heart-pounding restarts before Marcel Gravel claimed the opening segment win with Jason Corliss, Brown, Hebert and Pelkey rounding out the top five. Barre, VT — Starting off the 62nd Vermont Milk Bowl weekend in style, Booth Bros./Hood Qualifying Day set the tone for the annual end-of-season extravaganza at Barre’s Thunder Road. Forty-seven American-Canadian Tour / Maplefields-Irving Late Models took on the highbanks in the once-a-year single car time trials with Kaiden Fisher and Derek Gluchacki taking fast time before technical inspection stripped them of their efforts with tread width deemed too wide by officials. ACT point leader Gabe Brown and Championship Night winner Darrell Morin inherited the front row prior to the start of the Triple 50s qualifying heat races. (more…)

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted its final Friday night race program of the 2024 season with NAPA Auto Parts Championship Night on October 4. Feature wins were notched by Michael Christopher, Jr. in the SK Modified® feature, Adam Gray in the Late Model feature, Josh Morrison in the SK Light feature, Matt Clement in the Limited Late Model feature, and Travis Hydar in the Street Stock feature. Tyler Chapman had already secured the SK Light track championship last week and the other 2024 track champions are Andrew Molleur in the SK Modified® division, Kevin Gambacorta for the second consecutive season in the Late Model division, Matt Clement in the Limited Late Model division, and Travis Downey in the Street Stock feature. Teenager Sutton Wins Breast Cancer Awareness 100 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway

(Nashville, TN) A field of 124 race cars packed the pits this past Saturday, October 5 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. Breast Cancer Awareness Night featured six main events on the exciting quarter-mile and three features on the wicked fast 5/8-mile.

Pro Late Model point leader, Dawson Sutton, an 18-year old from Lebanon, TN, bested a strong field of competitors in qualifying. Moments later, Sutton drew the #2 pill, increasing his chances of winning his fourth feature of the season. (more…)

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Motor Speedway will host NAPA Champions Night this Friday, Oct. 4 with the track crowning its 2024 champions. Steven Chapman locked up the SK Light track championship with two wins last Friday and Saturday, Sept. 27 & 28, including the 40-lap King of the Crate event. With Chapman already knowing he is the 2024 SK Light champion, there are still 4 track titles to be decided in the SK Modified®, Late Model, Limited Late Model, and Street Stock divisions.
