The 2022 season continues to roll on at Wiscasset Speedway as the racing action continues to heat up! The Group #1 divisions returned to the speedway on Saturday, May 21st for a full night of racing action which included the T&L Automotive Enduro Series.
In July type conditions the May Meltdown program was presented Sunday afternoon at Riverhead Raceway feature the first of the Miller Lite Triple Crown Series events for the Street Stocks and Mini Stocks. In the 30-lapper for the Street Stocks Dave Antos of Lindenhurst scored his second win in eight days at the track while the Mini Stock 30 fell to Tony Collinsworth of Calverton. (more…)

David Arute notched the SK Modified® feature victory, his second win in the last 3 races dating to the NAPA Fall Final last season; Kevin Gambacorta locked down the Late Model feature win, Tyler Chapman won the SK Light feature, Rich Hammann notched the Limited Late Model win, and Bobby Stirk, III was a first-time winner in the Street Stock feature. For race teams and fans on Long Island the first practice day leading up to a new race season is a annual right of spring. Saturday morning Riverhead Raceway swung open the pit gates to officially start on track activity for the 72nd season of racing, quickly the paddock area was overflowing with race cars readying for opening night in tow weeks on Saturday May 7th.
