Saturday, April 23rd marked the beginning of the 2022 race season at Wiscasset Speedway and the tenth season of track ownership for Richard and Vanessa Jordan. The sudden closure of another Maine race track at the conclusion of the 2021 season left the local race community saddened, but also opened doors of opportunity for new drivers and teams to explore other race tracks such as Wiscasset. Following a decades old Long Island racing tradition, Riverhead Raceway owners Connie Partridge and Tom Gatz are hosting two free to the public practice days at the famed quarter mile with the first session scheduled for this Saturday April 23rd. A second practice day is also set for Sautrday April 30th. Salem, IN (April 15, 2022) – Former NASCAR star Ken Schrader will compete with the Salem Speedway Lucas Oil Great American Stocks in their 50-lap event with the upcoming Lucas Oil Midwest 250 on the famous High Banks of Salem Speedway Fueled by the Hoosier Lottery, located in Salem, Indiana on Sunday, April 24th. The event will be promoted by Track Enterprises and will also include 100 lap features for the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS and the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance.
(Stafford Springs, CT)—For the 10th consecutive season, rookie drivers in Stafford Speedway’s SK Light, Limited Late Model, and Street Stock divisions will all be racing for a $500 end of season bonus that will be provided by R.A.D. Auto Machine of Ludlow, MA. The highest finishing rookie drivers in each division will receive a $500 bonus and all drivers who have made less than 5 division starts in previous seasons are eligible to compete in the R.A.D. Rookie of the Year program.
