The International Super Modified Association was founded in 1974 by multi-time Oswego Speedway champions Jim Shampine and Nolan Swift to ensure the future and longevity of supermodified racing. With the help of a Central New York businessman, Tom Heveron, Shampine and Swift formed ISMA as a forum for owners and drivers to express their ideas and opinions.

Thompson, CT — Ronnie Williams used a late caution to win the Icebreaker 125 for the Outlaw Open Modified Series at Thompson Speedway back in April. Wednesday night, Williams didn’t need a late caution – he did it in dominating fashion. Williams took the lead early and rolled to the win after holding off Chris Pasteryak and on a flurry of late restarts. The victory came in the first of the summer Dash For Cash 50-lap, $5,000 to win races for the Outlaw Open Modifieds.

SEEKONK, Mass. — The winged warriors are heading for the Action Track of the East this Wednesday night. Seekonk Speedway will light up the racing world with a mid-week event on Wednesday, August 27, as the annual Boston Louie Seymour Memorial hits the third-mile with both the NEMA Midgets and NEMA Lites.
