More than 500 Miatas Gather at Lime Rock Park for MiataCon 2024
Over the weekend, Lime Rock Park transformed into the ultimate destination for Mazda Miata enthusiasts as MiataCon 2024 attracted over 500 Miatas from all generations and fans from across the country, some traveling from as far as California. Tyler Reddick won the Cup race with Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT coming in tenth with Joey Logano of Middletown, CT finishing 28th and Kaz Gala of Boston turning up 32nd while Corey LaJoie being awarded 35th. Corey LaJoie is the son of Two Time Xfinity Champ Randy LaJoie who spent his younger years in his home town of Norwalk, CT, near the northern NASCAR action before heading South to be closer to the top NASCAR racing.
Austin Hill won the Xfinity race while Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT took 11th place with Kyle Weatherman caming in 14th followed by Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT grabbed 15th and Blair Perkins came in 34th. Weatherman, Alfredo and Perkins all drive team cars for Cape Cod’s Chris Our and his daughter Mary. Both reside in Chatham, MA.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Oct. 26, 2024) – NASCAR today announced an extension of the entitlement partnership of its original series as Whelen Engineering, Inc. returns to the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour through 2029 in a partnership that guarantees increased team payouts starting with the 2025 season. In conjunction with the announcement, NASCAR released the 16-race 2025 Whelen Modified Tour schedule.

Woodstock, NH — White Mountain Motorsports Park Officials are excited to announce, in conjunction with today’s schedule release, that the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour is returning to the North Woodstock, New Hampshire highbanks on Saturday, June 28. MARTINSVILLE, Va. (Oct. 26, 2024) – Justin Bonsignore wasn’t going to be denied his fourth NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour championship, as he dominated the season finale Virginia is for Racing Lovers 300 at Martinsville Speedway to take home the Grandfather Clock and the year-end title.
The championship marks Bonsignore’s fourth title (2018, 2020, 2021, 2024), and the win – his first at Martinsville Speedway – gave him sole possession of second on the all-time Whelen Modified Tour wins list with 45.

Barre, VT — The American-Canadian Tour is set to return to Massachusetts’s lone paved oval, the Seekonk Speedway, for the second time this year next Saturday, November 2. The Haunted Hundred marks the final event of the 2024 season with both the international championship on the line as well as the Brookside Equipment Sales Southern New England Triple Crown, Saturday’s showcase has plenty of pressure for the invading ACT Tour stars.
