Corkscrew Hillclimb Provides Thrilling Reverse Course Challenges Fifth Annual Hillclimb Attracts International Entries for Saturday, August 8

MONTEREY, Calif., July 30, 2026 — Christine Sloss returns to defend her Corkscrew Hillclimb title as a field of challengers looks to best her winning time of 29.535 seconds. The Carmel resident was a fan favorite and was loudly cheered as she raced uphill in her bright yellow 2025 Ferrari SF90 XX Spider.

With just one week to go until the Corkscrew Hillclimb, participants as far away as Melbourne, Australia, and Dartford, England are among the Monterey Pre-Reunion drivers gearing up to challenge the iconic series of turns by racing in the opposite direction.

Macri Checks Off A Bucket List Win At Grandview & Pockets $10,000 In Hodnett Cup Speed Week Victory, Pauch Prevails In Thrilling Mod Thunder Doubleheader Tuesday Night

BECHTELSVILLE, PA (June 30, 2026) — A packed house filled Grandview Speedway on Tuesday night as the Levan Machine & Truck Equipment Thunder on the Hill Racing Series hosted the fifth stop of Pennsylvania Sprint Car Speed Week Series of 2026. “The Concrete Kid” Anthony Macri earned one of the biggest victories of his career by capturing the prestigious Hodnett Cup and the $10,000 top prize, while Billy Pauch Jr. outdueled Eddie Strada and a field of forty-two modifieds to win the 30-lap NASCAR 358 Modified feature paying $3,000 to win. The fans were treated to outstanding, nonstop racing as both feature events went the distance without a single caution flag.

“I’ve wanted to win here so bad. This is a bucket list win that I finally get to check off,” said Macri after earning his first career Thunder on the Hill victory.

Over 155 Entries Highlight Thrilling INEX Spring Nationals Weekend at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway

NASHVILLE, TN – A tremendous weekend of racing action unfolded at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway as the INEX Spring Nationals wrapped up a six-day showcase featuring more than 155 competitors from across the United States, Canada, and beyond.

Despite early weather challenges, track officials worked quickly and efficiently to get the facility race-ready, allowing the event to continue with minimal delay and setting the stage for an action-packed finale.

LOUDON, N.H. – “The Magic Mile” lived up to its name on a chilly morning as Tyler Rypkema scored a dramatic victory in the Mohegan Sun 100 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT) race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS). The event was marked by intense drafting battles and frequent cautions, with defending winner Justin Bonsignore fighting hard to maintain the lead in the closing laps, receiving aggressive bump drafts down the front straightaway by Rypkema.

Denny Hamlin Wins Thrilling Overtime Finish at Dover Motor Speedway

Denny Hamlin prevailed in Sunday’s EchoPark AutoTrader 400 at Dover (Del.) Motor Speedway – a race that featured a 56-minute red flag for rain, late-race strategy decisions, and involved a pair of overtime restarts before the trophy was ultimately settled between a pair of Joe Gibbs Racing teammates.

But the veteran Hamlin got it all right when it mattered most, getting a jump on the field in both overtime restarts and in the end holding off his newest teammate Chase Briscoe who was even on fresher tires. It marks back-to-back wins at the Dover concrete-mile for Denny Hamlin and a NASCAR Cup Series-best fourth victory of 2025.

The Modifieds of Mayhem NashVegas 50 saw Cody Stickler continue his reign with a fourth straight Nashville win, while multiple local favorites found their way to victory lane in front of an energized Middle Tennessee audience.

Brynildsen Crowned ERC King of Scandinavia With Thrilling Victory

Eyvind Brynildsen is a first-time winner in the FIA European Rally Championship after he came out on top of a thrilling battle for BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia glory on Saturday.

Armed with a Pirelli-equipped Toyota GR Yaris Rally2, Brynildsen triumphed by 4.9sec from Finn Roope Korhonen – the winner of the last round in Hungary – in an MRF-shod Yaris. Korhonen won the final Power Stage to snatch second away from local hero Isak Reiersen, who had been locked in an intense fight with Brynildsen throughout the weekend.
