Ferrucci Enters 2026 Chili Bowl

Santino FerrucciSantino Ferrucci of Woodbury, CT, is confirmed to compete in the next Chili Bowl Midget Nationals (the 2026 event) for Abacus Racing. He also competed in the most recent event, the 2025 Chili Bowl Nationals, where he raced the No. 16 entry with primary sponsorship from Webco Engineering.
Ferrucci, an NTT IndyCar Series driver, is a frequent participant in the Chili Bowl, a race he has called the “Indy 500 for the dirt world”. He looks to improve his performance in the upcoming event, having had a “wild ride” in the 2025 edition. He made his Chili Bowl debut in 2021.

Barre, VT — After several weeks of planning, Officials with the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour announced today the 2026 Schedule of Events for North America’s most historic Late Model touring series with 14 point-counting events on a fifteen-stop schedule. Along with the $60,000+ Milton CAT point fund and $20,000 champion’s share on the line, the 2026 schedule begins with ten stops at ten different facilities and  features traditional marquee events for the international stars as well as several exciting changes to shake up the season!

Gary Putnam Named NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Series Director

NASCAR Whelen Modified TourDAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Nov. 10, 2025) – NASCAR announced today that Gary Putnam has been named the new Series Director for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, becoming the fifth person to hold the position in the Tour’s storied history. Putnam succeeds Jimmy Wilson, who has overseen the series since 2013. Earlier this year, Wilson accepted the role of Sr. Technical Director of NASCAR Regional.

Putnam joins an esteemed line of Series Directors that includes Jerry Cook (1985–1992), Ed Cox (1993–2007), Chad Little (2008–2012), and Jimmy Wilson (2013–2025). His appointment marks a new chapter for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour as it enters its 41st season in 2026.

Stafford Rewind Video Series Launches to Highlight the Top Finishers in 2025

Stafford Rewind(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway is shining the spotlight on the stars of the 2025 season with Stafford Rewind, a digital content series highlighting the top-five finishers in each of the track’s five weekly divisions.

Over the past few weeks, Kyle Rickey and Rob Hahn of the Stafford media team visited each of the 2025 top-five finishers to talk about their seasons, tour their race shops, and highlight the people and sponsors that make their programs go. The series will feature daily videos and stories across Stafford’s social media channels, beginning today with the Street Stock division’s fifth-place finisher, Tyler Trott.

Barre, VT – Saturday saw the Thunder Road family of race teams come together one final time to celebrate the 2025 season at the annual Banquet of Champions. After decades away, the Banquet returned to the famed Barre Auditorium much to the delight of most attendees with the catering courtesy of Jockey Hollow and Good Measure Brewing providing the bartending services for the evening’s festivities.

Chalk up another one for Rico Abreu.

It’s been a dream season for the St. Helena, CA native, and he’s got no intentions of letting his foot off the gas as 2025 winds down.

Abreu entered World of Outlaws World Finals week with a nation-leading 20 Sprint Car victories this year. One thing lacking from his résumé was a win at North Carolina’s The Dirt Track at Charlotte with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Cars. He’d been close with a trio of runner-ups including one in his most recent appearance, but he doesn’t have to be the bridesmaid anymore.

Hometown Dawson Sutton Captures First All American 400 Win at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway

Dawson Sutton, ASA Stars National Tour Winner at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway(NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE) – If you are going to win in front of the hometown crowd, then you had better check all the boxes along the way. Dawson Sutton (Lebanon, TN) took care of that by being the first Tennessee driver to win the All American 400 since Mason Mingus in 2019.

Driving a Tennessee Volunteer Orange Car, Sutton made the most of the weekend by winning the pole and the race, becoming only the eighth driver to do so in the forty-year history of the race.

Islip 300, Riverhead RacewayThere is still one more championship to be decided at Riverhead Raceway for 2025, and that title will be decided at the biggest race of the season during the $12,000 to win 9th annual Islip 300 Saturday. When the dust settles at the conclusion of the 300, the 2025 Ted Christopher Cup Crown Jewel Series champion will emerge with several drivers still in the hunt. The Crown Jewel Series is a championship within a championship annually at Riverhead Raceway consisting of five extra distance, signature events. The championship cup for the series is named honoring the iconic, late Ted Christopher who tragically lost his life in route to Long Island for a WMT event in September of 2017.

Race of Champions Management Negotiating New 2026 Plans; Adjusts Holland Speedway Date

ROC Race of Champions Family of SeriesElma, N.Y. – (November 7, 2025) – Race fans and competitors can continue to fill their calendars with key dates for the 2026 racing season, as Race of Champions management releases additional “save-the-date” announcements for upcoming “Family of Series” events.

Race of Champions management is actively finalizing several traditional events while negotiating the addition of new ones for the 2026 season.

The 2026 dates for Holland (N.Y.) Speedway were originally announced in late August at the track’s season-closing event. Holland will host Race of Champions events on Saturday, June 6, and Saturday, August 29.
