A blustery & chilly June evening didn’t deter a large contingent of fans and race teams from packing into Wiscasset Speedway for the track’s annual Ames Ture Value NEMA Night on Saturday evening. The lightning-fast asphalt spring cars highlighted a full Group 1 program at Maine’s fastest track along with Pro Stocks, 4-Cylinder Pros, Super Streets, and Thunder 4 Minis.
Avery Stoehr, back in his familiar Bertrand Motorsports 39, scored a convincing victory this past Saturday evening at Wiscasset Speedway, while Jake Trainor in the Seymour 29 charged through the field to dominate the Lites portion of the event. The race was sponsored by Ames True Value Supply and Just Ask Rental which is a local family run business four generations strong – with ten 5th generation kids in the wings.
Last Saturday evening, the Northeastern Midget Association rolled into one of its favorite stops of the year, at the Wiscasset Speedway.
