Braun broke onto the tour type Modified scene on the SMART tour this year, with he and sponsor Rich Gerbe through his HighMark Building Efficiency securing the Hillbilly Racing ride. From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., participants can drive their own vehicles on VIR’s world-renowned 3.27-mile full course, following a pace car for 15-20 minutes of non-competitive track time.
