(Oct. 26, 2024) – NASCAR today announced an extension of the entitlement partnership of its original series as Whelen Engineering, Inc. returns to the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour through 2029 in a partnership that guarantees increased team payouts starting with the 2025 season. In conjunction with the announcement, NASCAR released the 16-race 2025 Whelen Modified Tour schedule.

Woodstock, NH — White Mountain Motorsports Park Officials are excited to announce, in conjunction with today’s schedule release, that the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour is returning to the North Woodstock, New Hampshire highbanks on Saturday, June 28. MARTINSVILLE, Va. (Oct. 26, 2024) – Justin Bonsignore wasn’t going to be denied his fourth NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour championship, as he dominated the season finale Virginia is for Racing Lovers 300 at Martinsville Speedway to take home the Grandfather Clock and the year-end title.
The championship marks Bonsignore’s fourth title (2018, 2020, 2021, 2024), and the win – his first at Martinsville Speedway – gave him sole possession of second on the all-time Whelen Modified Tour wins list with 45.

Just like last year, a season-long NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour points battle between Justin Bonsignore and Ron Silk comes down to the season finale at Martinsville Speedway.
What is different this time around is that Bonsignore holds the advantage going into the final race rather than Silk. A dominant day from Bonsignore at North Wilkesboro Speedway on Sunday allowed him to usurp Silk in the point standings and build a 10-point advantage with one event remaining. (more…)

Justin Bonsignore found himself in North Wilkesboro Speedway Victory Lane twice this weekend. The driver of the No. 51 Phoenix Communications machine for Kenneth Massa Motorsports swept the weekend of Modified competition at the historic track – winning both the SMART Modified Tour season-finale 99 on Saturday and the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Brushy Mountain Powersports 150 on Sunday. Zolder, Belgium – A 12-race journey, continuous twists and turns, and a truly thrilling finale: this is how we can summarize Max Lanza’s assault on the Challenger Trophy of the 2024 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series. The Rome-native driver fought like a lion until the last lap of the last race, defying the odds with extraordinary determination and grit. In the end, just 3 points – out of 340 for the winner – separated Lanza from the 2024 title, leaving him in third place in a season that was nonetheless very positive. (more…)
There is no shortage of star power as the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour heads to North Wilkesboro Speedway this Sunday for the Brushy Mountain Powersports 150.
Headlining the entry list are two NASCAR Cup Series legends – 2008 Daytona 500 winner Ryan Newman and 2000 series champion Bobby Labonte. Newman is piloting the No. 77 Modified for Mike Curb, while Labonte is in the No. 38 for Sadler-Stanley Racing. (more…)

Three-time NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champion Justin Bonsignore will compete in two events this weekend at North Wilkesboro Speedway. Bonsignore will make his first start in the SMART Modified Tour, driving the No. 51 for Ken Massa Motorsports in the 99-lap SMART season finale on Saturday evening. On Sunday, Bonsignore returns to NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour racing in the Brushy Mountain Powersports 150, the penultimate race of the season.
