Tyler Reddick Secures Championship Four Spot in Thrilling Win at Homestead-Miami Speedway

HOMESTEAD, Fla. – In the most dramatic Playoff race of the 2024 season – featuring three different leaders in the final three laps – 23XI Racing’s Tyler Reddick made a clutch pass out of Turn 4 on the last lap to claim his first NASCAR Cup Series victory at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday when it counted most.
Reddick passed his team owner, Joe Gibbs Racing’s Denny Hamlin with two laps to go then moved high up against the wall to pass Team Penske’s Ryan Blaney in the final corner to claim the Straight Talk Wireless 400 trophy and secure a position in the Championship Four in two weeks in the Phoenix Raceway season finale.
Hersey, Beecher Win, Storace, Witkum Top Winners At Claremont
CLAREMONT, N.H. – Russ Hersey continued his incredible out-of-retirement October winning streak, Justin Beecher soared to victory in the Super Streets, and Cole Littlewood, aboard a totally unfamiliar ride, dominated the Pro V8 Sportsman feature Saturday at Claremont Motorsports Park.
No fewer than a dozen feature events were contested Saturday, as the historic Thrasher Road speedplant hosted day two of its ambitious 2024 Fall Challenge three-pack. Oxford, ME — One last go-round for the ACT Flying Tiger Tri-State Series brought twenty-four Vermont and New Hampshire drivers over the border to the State of Maine for Saturday’s championship finale for the three-race series at Oxford Plains Speedway. While an end-of-season Flying Tiger showdown has been held annually at Oxford Plains since 2019, Saturday’s showcase became a first for ‘North America’s #1 Support Division’ with a point-counting event crowning a champion at the 3/8-mile Maine oval! CLAREMONT, N.H. – Cam Curtis caught the break of the night Friday at Claremont Motorsports Park. It was a good one. For Robbie Curtis, same event, same turn, not so much.
Curtis won the Outlaw Late Model main event on day one of the historic oval’s three-day 2024 Fall Challenge event, Streeter had led all the way in the 30-lapper until two blundering backmarkers swept him up in the final turn, as both Curtis and Kyle Goodbout sped by. (more…)
Logano Steals Vegas Win; Clinches Championship 4 Berth
LAS VEGAS — Two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Joey Logano made his Team Penske’s fuel strategy call work to perfection Sunday afternoon to claim victory in the South Point 400 Playoff race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and earn the first of four NASCAR Cup Series Championship 4 berths.
Logano led only the final six laps on the Vegas 1.5-miler but was able to hold off the afternoon’s most dominant car, Christopher Bell’s No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota by a slight .662-second in the final few laps.
