Twenty-nine rk Miles Street Stocks piled in for the annual Bolduc Metal Recycling Street Stock Special 50 lapper, Round #2 in the Vermont Agency of Transportation Triple Crown while 103 Enduro cars from across New England traveled up for the 41st annual People’s Race!

Matt O’Brien Scores First Wiscasset Feature Win of 35-Year Racing Career

Wiscasset Speedway returned to action on Saturday night with an action-packed Group 2 program that included the lightning-fast NEMA Midgets and NEMA Lites.

The racing action kicked off with the first of two 30-lap features for the Portland Glass Strictly Streets. Brady Romano took off with the early lead, but trouble was on the horizon as Scott Eck and Landon Tapley collided, resulting in a caution. Romano remained strong on the restart but Ben Burgess was on the move, overtaking the lead on lap 10 as Joe Harriman followed in succession. Burgess maintained command following a mid-race restart, picking up his second win of the season in the division. Joe Harriman and Chuck Wagstaff (1st career podium) followed, completing the top 3.

Brett Gilmore of Kutztown, Pa., who has been very fast in recent weeks but has not had any good racing luck, put everything together to out duel Alex Bartorillo of Limerick, Pa. to score the victory in the evening’s 25-lap T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman feature event.

NEWTON, Iowa — An extraordinary spat of cautions in Sunday’s Iowa Corn 350 Powered by Ethanol allowed William Byron to save an extraordinary amount of fuel, and that proved the difference in Byron’s second victory of the season and first since the DAYTONA 500.

Squeezing 144 laps out of his fuel cell at an Iowa Speedway track where the fuel window is roughly 100 laps, Byron crossed the finish line ahead of a trio of pursuers—pole winner Chase Briscoe, first and second stage winner Brad Keselowski and defending race winner Ryan Blaney—all on different strategies.

Holland, N.Y. – (July 27, 2025) – Patrick Emerling of Orchard Park, N.Y., captured a hard-fought and emotional victory in the Transitowne 100 on Saturday night at his home track, Holland Speedway, with the Race of Champions Modified Series.

Emerling battled throughout the race with Jake Lutz of Hamburg, N.Y., eventually taking the lead and holding off Lutz in a thrilling run to the checkered flag. The win marked the 25th career Race of Champions Series victory for the Western New York native.
