Add another driver to the NASCAR Xfinity Series playoff conversation. Brett Moffitt switched his points eligibility from the Truck Series to the Xfinity Series.
At the time of the switch, Moffitt sat in 15th place in the Truck Series point standings, 37 points below the playoff cut line. Now, he enters Saturday’s Ag-Pro 300 at Talladega Superspeedway with zero points in the Xfinity Series. (more…)

MILFORD, Conn. — Doug Coby is looking to add a fifth NAPA Spring Sizzler victory to his resume this weekend at Stafford Motor Speedway. In race two of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season, Coby will return to his home track on April 25 to drive the Mayhew Tools No. 10, coming off a sixth-place finish in the Whelen Modified Tour opener at Martinsville Speedway. The NASCAR Xfinity Series was off last weekend as the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and NASCAR Cup Series took on Richmond Raceway. Prior to that, the NASCAR Xfinity Series was in Martinsville, Virginia for the Cook Out 250. The race was postponed after weather took over during the originally scheduled start on Friday. The race was rescheduled for Sunday, April 11 and the series crowned another first-time winner in JR Motorsport’s driver Josh Berry. (more…)
